So I just picked my new project after a little road trip this weekend. 70 formula I have some new quarters to go on, the window trim and a couple boxes of stuff to sort through. Motor is not correct but it has a running 455. Ill get some more details up later.

It was 47 out the day before when i got the car I stopped and saw a friend and then drove home the next day (3 hour drive) and it was 19 degrees out today. At least the snow didnt start until the last 15 minutes of the drive home.

Very excited it will be a slow restoration, ill have it out this year driving it but will work on getting those quarters and rockers on. Plan is to get a little more detailed this next fall winter when i have some more storage to work on it.  It does have the 12 bolt posi still  Smile and it was Castillion Bronze not sure on the color ill want yet but it is in the mix. Its hard to go away from the orginal color sometimes for me and it is growing on me.
Hey Shawn  hopefully ill get to some cruise nights so i can pick up some tips and motivation from some a little further along.

I borrowed those pics from a thread on the Performance Years forums. Theres at least two guys in the 70-73 Firebird sub-forum that have these beautiful Castillian Bronze cars, I think both have the sandlewood custom interior (three tone interior colours) - one car has a Cordova top from memory......if you do a search for Castilian Bronze Formula on PY, you'll find the threads.
