This is the only part of the Fisher body manual that is really good:

Without the Fisher Body Manual, I would have had a hard time assembling and adjusting the door glass.....its counter intuitive in assembly and adjustment sequences.
Great manual to have a copy of.

Yes, the hatch seal should be in the same location as the normal roof line seal.

Does the outer window sweep go on befor or after the glass is in place? Also would you install locks and outer handles before or after the glass?
Tnx

They are all easier to install before the glass goes in, but you can remove the lower stop and then drop the glass the rest of the way to gain access.

Does anyone have pictures of how the glass then sits on the weather strip once all is adjusted? I think i have the pass side dialed in but the drivers side I can not get the front edge to stop diving its top inward so far. Its hard to crank the handle. Any pics and Ideas would be great.

Short of finding any other appropriate thread, I figured getting the tip here would help others.  I am replacing the rollers that are attached to the glass.  How do you remove the flat, threaded retainers holding the roller stud parts?

Take an old impact socket and grind it to look like this. I make tools, not buy.

Good one, grind a piece of hollow pipe if you get stuck. Drill hole through it for tightening with screwdriver!

I followed these instructions and did a fairly good job of adjusting my windows this weekend ....I think you just have to keep at it until you get the best fit...I think I can move it back an additional 1/8 inch...but i'll leave it where it is for now

Thanks for the instructions

I fooled with my pass side for a couple hours until I got frustrated and packed up for the day. I have the assembly manual, and I have read through this thread. The problem I am having is the front of the window when all the way up is too far into the car. When up, the top of the window needs to push towards the outside. I think I have tried adjusting everything every which way I can and I cant seem to get it right. Can anyone who has done this give me a bit of insight. I don't want to sound rude but Don't tell me to read the directions. I have, and think I am following them but to no avail. HELP!!!!

I feel your pain. One of the few small things left to do and for this very reason, I'm dreading it. Probably have my T/A Mechanic do it. AND That goes for the headliner as well.

Then when you loosen up bolts to adjust the glass ..you tend to get rattles in the glass frame ...

i finally got mine down to where I like it...but I have rattles inside the door now ..so it is all going to have to come apart again ..just to find the out what is loose and what is rattling around inside the door when I hit bumps

it is very frustrating

I did get mine where it sealed nice but the drivers side window rolls up hard once I am 1/4 from closed. Can not seem to get the tracking right on the weather strip. Yes it is fustrating!
