Oh well after having my nitrous feed line ruptured just as I pulled into the staging lanes 2 weeks ago I go back this past thurs only to have the nitrous solenoid fail just as I get ready to pull around to the lanes again. Had my tune up set for nitrous I went ahead and made a few passes only to go low 8's in the 1/8 th. It left so soft it was embarrassing. Best 60' was a 1.86. Hope to have a new sol by this coming thurs and looking for some low 7's. It was breaking up over 4 k so I'll prolly stick some fresh plugs in it too. These have been in since way before Power Tour last year.

I thought you decided to take it easy because the truck before you oiled down your lane. I would have been afraid to make a pass. We left after that run,so we didn't see you run again. Good luck next week.

Yeah I saw what the truck did, but they cleaned it up pretty good. Hopefully this week will be better. Nice talking-to you. Sorry I was so enveloped in what I was doing.

OK was very hot and humid last night, 6/28/12,  at Greer, but went a 7.70 @ 93mph popping, skipping and just not happy. Once I get this thing pulling clean all the way its gonna really move. Also once I get these side mount/pipes off its gonna free up a lot of power. Those side pipe mufflers are VERY restrictive.

Well I think I've got the running problem repaired. I put in a new MSD DIGITAL 6 and external Blaster coil. Last test drive was awesome and that was just on motor, can't wait to spray it, but out of 110 right now. Will try to get back to the track this coming Thurs night. We'll see.

Only got 3 passes in, but I'm pretty happy with the results. It took to the last pass til I got it running completely clean with no popping or missing and hesitating. In fact on the last pass it blew the drag radials away and I had to completely get out of it and then feather the throttle back in and it still picked up 3 mph. Best 1/8 ET tonight was 7.67 and mph was 93.  Got updated weight 4200 lbs. I guess all the a/c back on and more fuel in the tank adds up quickly. I've put on more than a few lbs since the last time I weighed it too.

That T/A is moving in the 1/8.Is that on motor or on Nitrous?

It was on a 180 shot of spray with the timing turned way down and I'm still chasing a little miss/skip so I was short shifting. Next spring it will go low 7's/high 6's. Got a few more tricks in mind.
