thanks, I'll look them up. do you know anything about them? I know there's got to be some very good Pontiac machine shops in the DFW area, I just want to be sure they are top notch and experienced with sd455 rebuilds. I've checked a few places and was pretty dissapointed.

They are nearly finished with My 400 right now.  I think they are straight up, frank and will tell you exactly what you need and give you what you want.  They know their way around a Pontiac engine.

Since I don't have the fiished engine in my TA yet, I can't speak to the quality of their product personally but, they came to me highly recommended from people that live and breathe Pontiac and have forgotten more then I'll ever know about Pontiac engines.

The worst you can do is to talk to them and compare them to the other shops around.

Try Texas Trans Am's or Patterson's Garage

If you are talking about Shawn Patterson- that's the best way to go, he is a great guy and does great work.  The other place is Long's Racing Engines 972-579-1887.  These are the Pontiac places to go.
