Has anyone ever modified an automatic console into a manual console?

WOW Aldo!!! That's pretty cool.  If I ever put a manual in, I'm certainly giving you a shout and getting all the details on how to make that...

Yes!  That is exactly what I was looking for.  Luckily, I have a friend who is a machinist too.  Aldo, any tips on how you created that thing would be welcomed.

Its easy ,the only tip i could remember is i should have made the 4 speed shifter bezel hole first then install it and take messurments,,the 4 speed bezel cuts into the auto section a little,,the cup holder i used aluminum,i used the auto shifter plate to take messurments from..
make a cup hole and thats it,,you could get fancy ,but in my hole you could see the carpet... Laughing

Aldo, where did you get your bezel?  Was it a used part or a repop?

Anyone have any tips on how to fix the console out of a 1985 TA? I'd rather fix it(the sides are coming off the center) than replace it because of the Daytona 500 Pace Car tag thats on it

The same thing is happening in my '89 GTA. I think it's a common problem. Mine isn't too bad yet, so I haven't really looked into fixing it. I'll be interested to hear what anyone else has come up with.
