Yes i have i have a pic too ,i used the extra auto section for a cofe holder.  I used to be a machinest and i machined an aluminum piece to make a cup holder. |

sorry its hard to see the sun was shinning ,but you could see the hole and thats were the cup goes,,it actually the place were the auto shifter would be,.

Yes! That is exactly what I was looking for. Luckily, I have a friend who is a machinist too. Aldo, any tips on how you created that thing would be welcomed.

Its easy ,the only tip i could remember is i should have made the 4 speed shifter bezel hole first then install it and take messurments,,the 4 speed bezel cuts into the auto section a little,,the cup holder i used aluminum,i used the auto shifter plate to take messurments from.. make a cup hole and thats it,,you could get fancy ,but in my hole you could see the carpet...  |

Anyone have any tips on how to fix the console out of a 1985 TA? I'd rather fix it(the sides are coming off the center) than replace it because of the Daytona 500 Pace Car tag thats on it

The same thing is happening in my '89 GTA. I think it's a common problem. Mine isn't too bad yet, so I haven't really looked into fixing it. I'll be interested to hear what anyone else has come up with. |
