Here is how I hung my crossflow.
1st I welded a stainless piece of angle to the top edge of the muffler.


Then I used the stainless hangers that pypes sells to hang the muffler in the stock location.

How does this system sound compared to dual mufflers....by the way, I like your vintage Pioneer receiver on the work bench DaveD.  It must be 30-yrs old and still working...awesome.  Cool

Yea, I've had that receiver since 1974, mowed lawns all summer to buy it.
Still works and sounds like new.
