Much as it pains me at this point, I have to say that I fully agree with the logic the moderators used herein.

I have a few other "toys", and thus I am on a few other forums. There are definitely some folks who post once and are never heard from again. At times very frustrating, and other times downright scary.

Here I come number 10  Very Happy

Just getting started and working to get my ten in. I have been looking at Craigslist and Ebay for a good car to start with and am hoping I might have better luck here.

Hello;  I'm new and trying to figure the site out.  I have a 1995 Blue green chamelion that I bought new and plan to keep original if I can.  I want her to be a little old ladies garage kept hot rod that some day a young man is going to get really excited about finding for sale.  Right now she is my baby and is going to eventually need tranny and engine rebuild.  She blew her head gasket and started having a slow shift 6 months after I bought her and she still runs well. (Hits 85 in 2nd gear still).  Hope to have her at least another 25 years.  Bluegreenchamelion

Hi, welcome to the club forums.
Best place to post an introduction would be in the Lobby forum.  Cool

I think that I have mentioned it before, but I think that 10 isn't enough for a minimum. I think that originally it was 50, and that is what I typically see on many other forums.

I'm a new member myself.  I can understand the need for a few posts before opening up the classifieds section.  I know how much a PIA posting on Craigslist and eBay has been in regards to poor rep people, tire kickers, and no-shows for deals made.

Although...I have to say I feel like a forum Troll trying to find somewhere to fit in my two cents...LOL

Wait...just trolled.  Eight more to go!

10 is not bad at all ... already on my 4th without me knowing it but 50 would've been difficult for sure  Razz

I think the rule is a good idea too. Gotta protect the community.

I think 10 is set too low. 20 descent posts would be great in my opinion. lol

There could also be a longevity for members that are present, but don't post very often. For example on LS1tech.com it is 50 posts or 6 months of membership in order to get to the classified section.
