would love to make that one, but I have to go to the junk yard tomorrow morning. Need a set of rad fans for the sons neon. I am hoping to scrounge a set of truck heads for my ls1 as well. If I can get them for a good price. :-P

I don't think I will make it back in time to make it. Have fun!

Weird. I thought I posted on this last night, but when I look this morning there's nothing.

Anyhoo... I would like to go to the swap meet. I am actually off work on the 16th to I could actually make it any day that weekend.
Just name a day and time and I will be there.

Looks like there is a Whataburger on 336 just East of I45, not far from the swap meet. Meet there?

Even though neither of us bought anything, it was a great day. Definitely a lot more to see at the Conroe swap meet than the Humble ones.

I am interested. Lets see who all else chimes in. If its just you and I we should meet on the west side, but if the others are coming the north side seems to work better.

Anything brewing in H-town this coming weekend? I feel like I want to get the 74' out for a stroll, but maybe not.

I am thinking of taking her to this show next weekend if anyone else is up for a meet:

Hey Mike, Glad to see your baby is running! I wish I could say the same about mine  :-(

I've been working on my TA everyday of the week because I have to have the interior restored by the end of the month so unfortunately I won't be able to make it to that event (Weekends is where I can put more hours into the restoration).

I hope I can see your TA one of these days.

Hey Marco, long time no see bud. I understand about the weekends, it was 4 1/2 years of every weekend I could spare to get my 74' done, not to mention blood, sweat, tears, and wheelbarrows full of $$$. I look forward to seeing you and your car again soon.

Todd, as always brother, it would be good to see you. Unless the weather goes to crap I'm definitely gonna get the car out for this show. Need to do a shine job on her and check the torque on the header bolts and she is ready to go. Hope to see you there bud!

Marco,

I found that stock rear differential cover - if you need/want it?

What is the word on that manual trans tunnel mount?

Funny. I was just thinking the same thing this morning, but at Marco's place. He is in a much tighter time crunch than Eric is.

Not quit yet - still trying to make room in the garage for more than just me - well actually make room for me to actually do some work!

Eric,

I talked to Leigh also did more research and looks like I'm OK with the differential mods. Checking my purchases I realized I didn't end up buying the tunnel hump but did buy the following parts:

478571   70-81 MANUAL SHIFT TUNNEL
3990467   70-81 F-BODY LOWER SHIFT BOOT
3973970   70-81 GRSHFT BOOT RTNR PLT
KW328   72-81 F-BODY BRK/CLTCH PEDALS
K1448   NYLON BRAKE/CLUTCH PDL BUSHING

let me know if any of those parts work for you; got them from Classic Industries.

Mike, Todd, Eric,

I'm 1000% down for a "wrench turning" meet at my place! Need all the help I can get since I must finish the car before Thursday 29. I'll provide beers and food ;-)

Let me know who's down and I'll send you my address via PM. No need to bring tools... well, maybe some welding clamps.

Cheers,

Marco

I did. It was kind of nice being away from technology. It forced me to step away from work a bit, and I needed that.

I am seeing something on houston fbody facebook group there is some kind of cruise to galveston (car cruise not boat. haha) on Saturday. If you are free on Saturday we could meet up someplace by I-45 and swing down with the 98Z. That group is 99% 3rd and 4 gen anyways so my 98 fits right in (has working AC as well so should be a decent ride). Of course she needs a bath first but I can get that done tomorrow... Just let me know if you are free and/or interested.

Its sad, i forget about this place. And I used to be in here daily, sometimes multiple times a day. But with no activity theres no reason to visit anymore. I think you guys have my phone number, so if you ever want to get together for a meet up, car show, etc, just text me. I know for sure I have Koury and Erics numbers. Todd I see you bumping around the Houston F-Body Facebook page occasionally, I'll pm you my digits.
