It seems to be very calm here in Europe section, they are all in holliday i think. Or maybe no more money to buy gasoline for driving oure T/A. I am agree, the waether also play a roll, we dont have yet see the sun alot, exept the last 2 weeks. There is by my own now alot of firebird/camaro drivers overhere also, not only in Belgium, also in France, Holland and Germany and G Brittan as well. There is well a difference in restoring, overhere you wil see more custom made cars, and less originel ones.(hart to find even) Time difference may not have a problem to post something, i see there is always sombady online. I think we shoulth make a little publicity for this Forum, the more poeple, the more fun, and never the less technical nolledge.(sorry if i make mistakes in typing englisch, i try my best to do) regards Albert

Hi all Only just joined this community so that's why I have not posted before. From Herefordshire, United Kingdom. Have owned my 1977 Special Edition since 1986, and restored it in the early 90's. Tried to keep it as original as possible, although the wheels are from a 78 TA.

I have been known to do the rounds! I'm surprised you've not come over to the darkside before mate. I'm on TAC, 78ta, 301garage and POC. The 3 US sites are my favourites and without all the great guys on them, I would have struggled to find out about and fix my TA. I take it you went to the Nats in the states? Good journey back? Did customs wonder what all the clanking was in your suitcase from all the car parts you acquired? Your pal finished fixing my boat up yet? lol.

Ive thought about it before, but i just didnt see the need to join more, i used to frequent POC (uk) but i have my reasons for not posting on there, its a shame, but there you go. I agree the American sites seem to be very helpfull and friendly. As for bringing parts back, at the first Airport i was told " that i had a very interesting bag " ( my hand luggage had a few bits in it, including steering links, but at the second i got into trouble ( Detroit to Heathrow ) i caused a few peoblems at the x ray and had to use my diplomatic card. LOL As for landing in the Uk it was all plain sailing, a quick look at my face and it was " welcome home Sir ". I just wish id had more time and bigger suitcases !! As for your boat, i moved out of the yard where it was being stored so i have no idea......... such a shame.
