I can't find a definite answer on what brakes will clear the 17" cast snowflakes on any sites.I already ordered my wheels and will be posting pics as soon as I get my rear two back from weldcraft. The back wheels will be 17x12 and fronts the standard 17x9's. I would really like to get some brakes ordered before mock up and would love to get the c5 or c6 brakes. Anybody running this set up? Thanks.

I've told them (multiple times) that I have 4 wheel C5 brakes.  They don't want to ship me some wheels to mock up.  Too bad, nobody back East seems to have the same setup.

They kept saying how they needed someone in the Atlanta area for mock up and then I heard no more. This is somewhat frustrating and I guess I will have to be the guinea pig. I don't know why this is so top secret!Kind of silly and I know someone has this set up, or has at least tried it.

JC455,  where on the east coast are you, Im in NC and have the 17x9's on the car.  If you were close by we could try them.

gmcdermit1, what size tire are you going to run on the rear.  I thought about sending two wheels to weldcraft to make them 10" and run a 295/45/17 MT drag radial.

I ordered 335 35 17's for the back and 275 40 17's for the front. The back tires will be just slightly taller than the front but should be around 13.5" wide. Very Happy

Braker19-
I'm in California.  Don't think it'll work- lol!!  I just read on Pro-touring.com that a guy has them on his C5 converted rear- plenty of room.
