i am trying to build a good quality stereo yet still have it be afforitble. any ideas? i would like to run 4 mids, tweeters, a sub like a 10" or maybe a 12" and an amp. could i run all of this through one amp or would i have to have multiple amps? id like to have a very clean sound but still be able to feel the bass.

my idea was a Pioneer deck (DEH-P5200HD), Kicker 6 1/2 speakers for the door (08KS600), Kicker 6 x 8 speakers for the package tray, i dont know about subs, nd i dont know much on amps, im thinking about maybe a pioneer or Rockford fostque amp

any ideas or opinions?

Hey i have had this type set up in my old cars and found out that its better to have two amps, one to controll the sub and one for all the highs in the front and rear, you could tune the amp alone for the bass sub in the trunk and play with the other for a clear punch sound in the front.as far as the watts its all depending on you and your choice of speakers sterio etc.(is this for your trans am or another type car?)reason for that is depending on the power your looking for you might need to install a back up battery in the trunk.
hope this helps
