So my door panels were pretty messed up when i got my car. Warped, chewed, missing pieces. First thing i did was place the door panel back side up on my work bench and sprayed it with water all over the cardboard. I then used a piece of plywood slighty larger then the size of the door panel and placed it over top of the door panel and screwed the plywood to the bench, sandwiching the door panel.I marked the holes that are in the door panel onto the plywood so i could put screws in the middle going through the arm pull holes and all around the outside of the panel. Then left it in my warm shed for a few days..It came out pretty straight i was impressed..Now for the pictures of how i macgyver'd the repairs.
First few of the damage

Here i removed the damaged cardboard and cleaned it up.

I went to the local bucks auto and found some black carpet from an 88 blazer. Which was free i might ad. I just pulled the carpet off the rear floor, cause it was a little beat up and wanted it to match the door panel a bit better.

I then test fit it and trimed it till it just slightly overlapped the old carpet.Of course i trimed all the old carpet so there was a decent line to use.

After a little trimming it was looking alright.

I then used superglue to start glueing it down and just slowly made my way around starting from the outside edge. When i got to the point where the carpets joined one another I took my time making sure they pushed together tightly and glued a little bit at a time.
When i was removing all the old carboard and bits of carpet i kept the small bits of carpet fibres. And where the carpet didnt quite match up. I glued in small pieces of the old carpet to fill in any spots.
Turned out pretty good i thought. These panels are hard to find.. and new is too much money for me. So a little time and some ingenuity and the panel looks good enough for a driver. Which my car is.. just a driver.
