I am in Scappoose OR, outside of Portland. Parting out 12 firebirds right now, lots of good parts, real reasonable. '76 formula hoods, '78-'81 trans am hoods, lots of rust free panels, ralley II's, 400's (runners & cores) I buy second gen firebirds!!

My personal projects include-
'73 Trans Am clone, brewster green, 4-speed, 455, disc brake posi.
'77 se, Y-82, hurst hatch, 400/4-speed, cloth interior.
'81 formula, 305/4-speed, T-top.
'79 T-top Trans Am, black-on-black, gonna go 400/4-speed.

Why yes that is a firebird and not a CAMARO! The engine is done, now debating rebuild my 17 heads and put on the 350 or build the 400 with 6x-8 heads and stroke it......

It's not about the destination, it's about the trip getting there!

I would love to be there.  Right now, i have to pull an engine, prep and install new one, replace a ball joint, well that should be enough time to geter done.

I have a lot of work to do if I want to be ready to run the Formula this year, but I did get my motor mounts made and welded in finally. So it is just a matter of putter her all back together. But she isn't runable with 456's and street tires either so a lot of it comes down to money....
