Yep, Yakima's not too far from the border. I'm in Grants Pass (55 mi. from the I-5 Cali border, about 60-70 from the coast)
So about 4 hours south of Portland.  Smile Maybe we should combine Pac NW with CA, And just have the 'Pacific Charter'

I am in Scappoose OR, outside of Portland. Parting out 12 firebirds right now, lots of good parts, real reasonable. '76 formula hoods, '78-'81 trans am hoods, lots of rust free panels, ralley II's, 400's (runners & cores) I buy second gen firebirds!!

My personal projects include-
'73 Trans Am clone, brewster green, 4-speed, 455, disc brake posi.
'77 se, Y-82, hurst hatch, 400/4-speed, cloth interior.
'81 formula, 305/4-speed, T-top.
'79 T-top Trans Am, black-on-black, gonna go 400/4-speed.

Why yes that is a firebird and not a CAMARO! The engine is done, now debating rebuild my 17 heads and put on the 350 or build the 400 with 6x-8 heads and stroke it......

I have a lot of work to do if I want to be ready to run the Formula this year, but I did get my motor mounts made and welded in finally. So it is just a matter of putter her all back together. But she isn't runable with 456's and street tires either so a lot of it comes down to money....

Beaverton, Aloha.  Welcome brother.  We just might have to hook up soon.  I have a 78 400 Solar Gold TA.  Have had many 79's and others in the past.  It's exciting to hear you are close by.  I also have a secret parts connection that you may know of or not.  Excellent connection, perhaps one of the best in the country, from a local perspective.  Chris
