I didn't get a lot of pix, was trying out a new camera. Hammer summed up the weekend in his thread nicely. It was a great time! Here are a few of the ones I did get.

A big HOWDY from show promoter, Mr. Tom Smith

George Berg's 73 and 77 birds both won awards, beautifull cars George!

Couple of very nice Special Editions here:

3rd and 4th Gen cars were WELL represented

Very well restored DOCUMENTED 69 Trans Am

George Bergs 2nd place  and my 3rd place cars

Keith- 81 blue T/A, looks hard for dirt

Hammer  and Keith hard at work judging cars all day, Great job guys!

My son Ryan  and I with the 3rd place trophy

Like I said, it was a new camera and I need to work harder at centering my cars better in the pictures Smile

It was a great time folks.....highly recommend this one for next year.  I hope I can get my car there next year.

Maryland Bandit....outstanding car....it keeps getting better and better everytime I see it.  Excellent job and congratulations on your Third Place.  Incidentally, the first place car was a 1,000 mile all original TATA and George Bergs cars were just outstanding for 2nd places.

Thanks again Tom, it was good seeing you and celebrating Firebird Style...LOL

Rick
You really need to put this show in you calendar for next year.
I would steer you wrong you know that.
Hope to see you there next year.
I will not be at the Nat's as you already know.
I will be going on a cruise. Bummer.
So I hope you make it to Saratoga next year.

Another great show!  This was my third year and the cars keep getting better.   Tom (Maryland Bandit) your car was the best I've seen it.  I think the first time was 4-5 years ago.  Driving it as much as you do and having it look that good is unbelieveable. Congrats!

Tom Smith and his crew are the best at keeping this show growing every year.  I see it getting bigger every year.  Had a great time Friday night meeting everyone at the trailers, thanks for making me feel welcome.

Hammer as a judge your tough!  extactly what we need more of.  Thanks for spending time with me after the show and pointing out what I could do better.  Will be done for Norwalk!!  Thanks to all the judges and everyone who gave their time putting this show on.

Tom Smith please pass on my thanks to the people at the park and the police.

See all either at the Nats, Norwalk or both.

The tolls ...ouch  $180.00 more than my fuel cost.  Saved a bit on the way home but the GPS was none too happy with me.

Thanks George that means a lot. Yea, tolls round trip for us were 40.00 Shocked Beautifull mountain countryside though. Was talking with Shar tonight over dinner, she made a great point. See, you stopped stressing over winning a darn award and went to just have fun, look what hapened. Hmmm, wonder if that will work again in Dayton? Don't really care, seeing you guys is more fun. See yall in 6 weeks!

Looks like a great show, great place and even better organization! I sure did miss out on a good one huh?

I guess for me it was either coming out with the 99 for this one or pulling the engine this weekend. I couldn't pass up pulling it especially with my uncle offering to come over and help me out with it. It will be on my schedule for next year though!

Btw, congrats on the 3rd place and she sure is looking good! Don't take it for granted as I might as well bump you out of your place next year  Razz jk!

George, thanks for the kind words. I am a pretty tough Judge, I admit it.... as my average score for the second gen stock class was about a 74 out of 100 possible points. But this is just an indication of how well both your car were presented in comparison to the rest on that field.  It was justified, non-biased, and you should both be very proud of your work.  I walked away feeling I did my job well as I took the honor of being a Judge very very seriously.

It was a pleasure to see you again...George.  I spoke with Rick H. tonight and he will be at Norwalk on Sunday with me...so well see you there.  Drive careful.
