Briefly toyed with the idea of putting some Four Peaks Kilt Lifter Ale in the kegerator this time(it's a local micro brewery here in Phoenix, and KL is a killer beer!!), but they wouldn't take my empty Anheuser Busch (Amber Bock) keg in on trade and wanted a deposit on their keg which upped the price tag out the door to over $200... so I just went with my usual... Amber Bock.  Great beer for just a little more money (at least in keg form).

My mind is generally not that clear in the morning as it is...to say nothing of bloodshot eyes and the occasional headache.  I don't think a keg would be for me, besides, I'd have to keep it on the front porche for it to be as convenient as my cooler is now, and I really don't want to shoot someone for coming up there and swiping glasses/pitchers of beer. Laughing

Cool...

I've got a new beer establishment to check out. Some local folks turned a former firehouse into a German beer garden. Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

You can enjoy the house beer-- Hofbrau Munchen in 10.1 oz, 16.9 oz, and 33.8 oz.. Shocked Shocked drafts.

Nice Keith, hope you enjoy that place!  Cool

Thanks John... I'm looking forward to going to this new place. It will give me a chance to learn something new since my knowledge of German beers is limited ... just too many beers out there. Very Happy  For me and my friends it's about discovering, tasting, enjoying and learning about new beers and not about getting drunk ... lost a few friends that way.... although we do get a good buzz. Very Happy

This place is in a section of Albany that is being transformed into an entertainment/dining district to bring more people downtown. Which is good because many of the old buildings with some beautiful architecture are being saved, which I believe I've mentioned before. Save an old building... serve great beer... it's a win-win situation. Very Happy

John... if you're ever in the Albany area (You're probably saying to yourself... "why would I ever go to Albany??"... well, that's a good question. Laughing Laughing) you'll be my guest for a tour of this area's finest beer establishments. Very Happy
