It's surprising that the Italian beers are good. I think of Italy more of a wine country and usually dismiss thier brewing. You know the Germans are the "kings of beer" in Europe, but Italy comes in a close second or third.

I tend to go for the lighter stuff these days, to keep me from looking like the Hindenburg! Well, that and the heavier the beer, the worst my innards do with it.

I've had MGD light and will drink it if it's around but won't go out of my way and buy it. If there would be a dollar or two difference in price, I'd still buy the regular. I know High life usually goes on sale cheap around here too, last time I bought that was at $11.99 a case.

Hmm. The wife is nice enough to help me keep my beer fridge full with a variety of suds, but I tend to stick with - and in no particular order:
Guinness - my #1 Anchor Steam Shiner - both Bock and Black Fat Tire Various Sierra Nevada's Pilsner Urquell (sp?) Rogue Various Sam Adam's Stella Artois Birra Moretti Pacifico Negro Modelo Schmidicks
that's all that comes to mind. I like to experiment and usually have three or four new brands at a time. Beer is good, but I can't do some of the lower priced stuff - gives me the runs!

Ans to think, that it lost it's load when the truck swerved to avoid hitting a squirrel. I bet that area smelt great for a day or two.

I'm drinking one of my favorites tonight...Samuel Smith's Nut Brown Ale from England. LOVE this brew. $10.49/4 pack... worth every penny. Also bought Saranac's Winter sampler. Two bottles each of Bohemian Pilsener, Nut Brown Ale, India Brown Ale, Belgian Ale, E.S.B. and Vanilla Stout. On sale $7.49/12 pk.

I just got a new keg for the garage and its Spotted Cow which is killer.
A friend just sent me some Full Sail Ale (couple six packs) from Oregon and now they make an Amber which is even better then Bells Amber (which is hard to beat). Lover this stuff and trying to see about kegs for the summer. MMMMmmmmmmm, enjoy your brew!

More Budwieser for me this weekend. I'll have to get something different next weekend, I'm feeling the urge for something a little stronger.
