70TA Tony asked for it, so he got it.  Very Happy

As some of you already know, I like a beer every once in a while. In addition to drinking a variety of store and bar bought brands I home brew also. My wife got me a Mr. Beer home brew kit the Christmas of 2005. I have brewed 7 batchs since then. It's a great little kit and comes with the brewing keg, eight 1 liter bottles and caps, and one beer kit (usually Pale Ale). I bought two other varity 3-packs. It's pretty easy to make, if you can follow simple cooking directions you can brew beer. If you are interested check out www.mrbeer.com for more info.

As far as store bought beer goes I like Bud Select, Bud, Bud Light, Busch Light (my daily drinker  Laughing ), Sam Adams Boston Lager, Sam Adams Oktoberfest, Hieniken, Corona, Guiness, Harp by Guiness, Rolling Rock, Beck's, and many others. I haven't found a beer yet that I hate. Some are good, some aren't, but none have been horrible.

On the rare occasion that we go out to a bar I like to try diffirent beers from time to time. It's the best way to try a new flavor without buying a whole 6 pack or case if you're not sure about it.

So, what are you drinking??  Very Happy

Coors Light mostly. I really like Canadian import Moosehead, but I can't find it locally anymore.

Sam Adams beers can be pretty strong if you are used to Bud Light and Corona. Some guys don't care for a strong beer. That's why there's so many flavors and brands to try.  Very Happy

yes - I'm a beer snob.

I simply don't enjoy Bud/Coors/typical American watery pale beers.

Gimme something with flavor, character, and body.  Yeah, you can take those attributes too far and some craft/microbrews do, but after drinking the beers on my list below, I don't see how anyone can hoist a Bud and think it's better.  Guess that kind of difference of opinion makes the world go 'round...

- Anything from Full Sail brewery with their Pale and Amber ales being top choices.

- Deschutes brewery Mirror Pond Pale Ale.

- Alaskan Brewing Co. Amber ale.

- Paulaner Oktoberfest

- Sam Adams Boston Lager

- Redhook IPA

There are others, but this is long enough. And, when I'm out camping and want to be able to drink all day without getting falling down drunk and only a pale, watery, American style beer will do - Schmidt's!
