Soooo, it seems that if NO tranny is listed then it is prolly a standard/four speed.

Sure looks that way.  77 and 78 are both different from that pattern.

I have a numbers matching 76 455 4 speed but haven't ever pulled the PHS on it.  Guess I should do that.

Well, those only came one way, so it may not say much.  I think the 455 may have been listed as a "performance package"

Sorry no pic...I just have major issues trying to post pics on TAC.  As you can see my TA is a pretty low option car.  The sound system and custom trim groups are about it.
