Awhile ago (maybe in July?) we had a big storm blow through. I had a large poplar tree blow down in my backyard. We measured and it was well over 100'. By luck or a miracle it landed perpendicular to my house, had it gone the other way would have hit the bedroom first then who knows what.
I only have a 16" chain saw so cutting it up was a bit of a challenge. Plus it has been stifling hot. I kinda let it go and knew it needed cleaned up but could come up with better ways to spend my spare time (working on the ta). Last Sat it came to a head and my wife blew up :-x I knew I wold not be able to do anything car related until this thing was gone. I fired up my mat.handler and made quick work of things. Chopped it up to managible sizes and dumped it in the woods. Half a day later and all was well in the kingdom :smile:20240824_135631 by Kerry Grubb, on Flickr
