New Console Box

Looking to replace the console box on 81 Formula. Checked the usual vendors and eBay. They all seem to be good replacements with the best prices and free shipping on EBay. Any suggestions or recommendations would be greatly appreciated! Thank You.

If appearance and plastic parts aren't an issue......OER.  The grain pattern is off and the top bracket is plastic.  You can switch the metal bracket from yours to the OER one.  They're usually about $400 for auto or manual.

If you are looking to keep original look and metal parts then find a good used and/or repair the old one.

If you are talking about the insert only I would think that any would be a close fit. I buy just about all of my new parts from ames. I did read a complaint about their console lids recently though.

You are talking about the compartment bin and attached lid? Most would be the same casting, even under different brand names. Thought Classic may have the best price since they own OER, but same prices. Get the best deal with shipping or combined.

My bad.....I read that wrong.  I thought you were talking about the entire console (box).

Thanks everyone. I should have been more specific stating it was the insert only. But anyway, I found an OER for 34.99 and pulled the trigger! Thanks again all.
