Jack stowage

What is the correct way to stow the jack and lug nut wrench in its perch between the rear speakers in the trunk? Thanks.

Handy pics, note that his trunk seal is installed backwards.

I did a thread on this years back using a rear shelf cut for clearer pics if need any, prob well covered though. Plus there's a giant sticker with diagram on it.

Yes, please find the thread you mentioned, if possible. I will be replacing the trunk seal very soon and would like to know why/how is the trunk seal installed backwards. thanks.

The thread was on Jack equipment, thread long gone.

The seal only goes 2 ways, leaning out of the trunk correctly, or leaning into trunk incorrectly and leaking.

I can't even sign into this forum anymore on main computer so pics and links will no longer be added and a pain to even reply on phone so I'll be here less and less.
