Trans Am Dash Question

Hey guys, i was under the impression that you could not buy the Trans Am dash?
I was on the Classic Industries website today and came across this one.



Do these have the real look and feel of a Trans Am dash or they are more like plastic?

They have been arriving soon, forever.  I hear they get a few once and a while and I people say they are OK, better that a dash cover or a cracked dash.

I would call to confirm. Like Luke says, they have been 'available' but when the order is placed they are back ordered. I think one member on here got one and had to return it but I think they did get a good one as a replacement.

I know i would find the answers here.
So i guess we can order these Dash's but you might be waiting a while.
I would love to know more about the quality of the product.
How close it is (look and feel) of the original.

I thought they were using the originals as cores to create new ones, but that could have been another service by someone else.

For the price of getting a repro that may take forever, you would be better off sending yours out and having it redone. I dont know the guys name but I think hes in the pacific NW, theres a parts dealer on fb that is a vendor but I dont do fb so I dont know how to contact him. I know theres a member on TAC that has had a couple done and they look fantastic. They are a bit pricey though.
