Watching TCM last night I saw the announcement that Smokey and The Bandit will be on the big screen to celebrate the 45th anniversary. This is being done through Fathom events at select theatres. Show dates are May 29, June 1 and June 2. There is a theatre near me that does these so I am looking forward to it. I believe they did similar 5 yrs ago for the 40th, and I missed it for some reason. I have never seen this movie on the big screen.
