Mini tubs with coilover spring torque arm conversion
« on: November 19, 2021, 07:40:47 PM »
I'm getting way ahead of myself. But I was browsing thru my wish list and was looking at doing mini tubs for the rear. I was also considering converting to a coilover torque arm set up to allow for ride height adjustment and to control rear axle windup with the motor that's planned. The question I am concerned about is if I do go with the coilover/torque arm and mini tub combo, will I need to also relocate the trailing arm links? Or better still, what would be the largest rear tire I could run without having to move the trailing arms? (Would like to avoid hacking into the frame rails if possible.)

first what size tire do you want to run? we run 315s with leaf springs.
You didn't mention what torque arm you are referring to.
