Speedometer Cable
« on: April 03, 2021, 08:52:18 AM »
Does anyone know offhand the length of the speedo cable for the following:
1977 400 automatic.

I have cruise control on my car but it doesnt work, I have hooked the speedometer up through the servo, one cable going in, one cable going out but I have not had any luck getting it to work. I would like to try running a direct cable from the trans to the speedometer bypassing the servo altogether.

I assumed I could just get the longest and it would work?

It exits thru a grommet behind the brake pedal, very low. The models with cruise may exit thru a different spot.
