Sun roof
« on: March 06, 2021, 11:07:55 AM »
Hello
I've been searching for my next toy and have come across a few early second gens where someone has installed t-tops or a sun roof. Body shop experts,  what would be needed to restore back to original while maintaining structural integrity? Full replacement from pillars?
Thanks

That's the correct way of doing it but the structure support can also be added if you have an experience bodyman.

Very time consuming and need to be working on a gutted shell, and that's only once you have a suitable donor roof piece. I'd keep looking in most situations.
