Good pics. Woof. And yes, hard to take pics. I did this years ago for a forum, added pics, but I can't even find them now so I probably deleted the lot if they were that bad! I do have others but they aren't clear either.
When I got my car way back, it only had one in place. I sourced a complete set genuine, were still available at the time. That's when I realised there wasn't a hole on the RH side. I later had this area sanded back for painting black and no sign of filler like I expected, or welding up etc, or reason to. So as easy as slipping into place, matching the fit on glass and adding the hole.
The reproduction pics I saw in more recent years seem to have the same scribble and die-grinder markings on the rear, which was always messy. So I'm not sure if they've reused the same dies or copied them some other way, how this fit is anyone's guess, one hole, and slips into the end of the bright trim, the other tab rests over the trim. Drilling a second hole would work if still hidden under the tab on the cowl, or try another eyebrow perhaps.
