Currently rebuilding the oil pump, I bought new drive shaft and pick up screen from Melling. It's stock pump. I don't know if there suppose to be a gasket between the body and the cap ? Melling pumps have the gasket which is impossible to buy separately, it's out of stock everywhere. I don't remember if there was the gasket when I disassembled he pump. There are scratch marks on the cap and the pump won't spin when everything is assembled with the bolts just finger tight.
