What is the price? I buy a car about once every 15 years so I have never used it. But in the long run is it cheaper than a costly repair or finding out that the car you are looking at has been wrecked 3 times?

The only trouble I have found with Carfax is its possible for "Repairs" to slip under the radar. I had a 2010 Malibu that had minor bumper damage both front and rear. It was Backed into twice on the rear bumper and I hit a "Traffic Cone" that got tossed into my lane by a Semi. Tore up the front bumper. When I traded it in the dealer ran a Carfax report. Nothing.

Ya, thought the price was crazy too. I was going to run one on the charger I just bought because the price seem way too good to be true. I ended up not using carfax and ran the vin though the dmv for title checks like rebuilt title and souch and then another place online that reports accidents on the vin. I did this on the other charger I bought too. The other car I bought my search even brought back the selling prices every time it changed hands. I couldn't find that website this time.

I was running one on my TA just out of curiousity, it was $44 dollars, I wasn't that curious
