Blower motor resistor location on non AC car

From what I understand, the blower motor itself is behind the passenger wheel well.  Where's the resistor for the blower motor located exactly?

Right now my blower is not turning on when I turn the fan switch on the dash on.

Are you sure the resistor is bad?  I have an a/c car and had to replace the blower motor 2 weeks ago. From this site and others I have learned a few things.  IF the blower only runs on high the resistor is bad.  IF the blower only runs on the 3 lower speed the relay is bad. Mine, after the blower motor was replaced, didn't run at all.  I found that the switch behind the dash that goes through all the positions on the control panel was bad.  I had power going in but not out.  I took the switch apart, cleaned it, and all was fine.  With the ignition on, engine off, you should hear the compressor clutch click on as well as the fan relay if the fan switch is set to high.  If so the switch behind the dash is good.  It could also be the fan switch it's self.  I'm not sure how one would test it.  ohm meter.  As far as the location of the resistor,  someone  with more experience will chime in.

No I’m not sure if it’s the resistor or the motor either.  My blower isn’t running at any speed.   Just was in the process of pulling the control panel out.  Everything looks to be connected but I’ll try cleaning up the connections to see if that wakes it up.

In my case the hot wire from the fuse box is brown.  It then connects to the control switch via a yellow wire.  Take the connector off and with a volt meter check to see it it's getting power.  Ignition off 0 volts,  ignition on 12 volts.  If your getting power to the pigtail, you can make a jumper wire, with an inline 5 amp fuse, and jump the hot wire to the other 3 wires, one at a time, and see if you can hear the compressor clutch click on and the blower run.  If you don't  hear the them click on and run the switch is bad.  Be sure to check the fuse at the fuse box too.  It should be a 20 amp fuse.

Thanks for the step by steps.  Yeah I had checked the fuse at the fuse box.  The heater/ac fuse looks ok.  Looks like it’s 25A.

It's inside.  Top of the inside heater box.

There's no relay, so it seems like if all the resistors burned out, you'd still have high, and the only components actually used would be switches.  The contacts in the switches might be more the issue.  The blower motor might be bad.

Figured it out.  The wire from the fuse box got disconnected.  Thanks guys.
