1979 tachometer

Hi, wondering if all the replacement tachs are the same or is there one thats better, or should I have mine repaired? (In dash tach, mine stopped working)
I thought i might have my clock converted to quartz too while its apart

If your tachometer and clock is from 1979 then it's already quartz. Last I checked the repros were approx 75-78 models, they changed after that, clock, tacho, plugs.
