78-79 W72 snorkel duct retainers

These little clips for the oval duct adapter for 78-79 W72 were always missing years ago. Does anyone make them now? I had someone ask me, and saw a request on another group that reminded me.

Are these what you are asking about?  They're off my Y88.  Haven't seen them reproduced.

Yeah #497414, same as years ago then. There's similar S clips out there that could work but would need the teeth filed down or never be able to remove without damage. Similar types used on the dash air vents etc. I assume the flared tabs are only to aid in removal as can catch the end and release?

Correct.....you have to pry both sides to keep the teeth from ripping up the plastic.
