Mine  were gone when I got the car... Wonder how hard it would be to fab one up?  Is it metal?  Seems I've read they are plastic or fiberglass..

I actually ordered one from the parts place on ebay https://www.ebay.com/itm/1976-78-Pontiac-Trans-Am-OEM-Spoiler-Connectors-Set-/270453772291 (https://www.ebay.com/itm/1976-78-Pontiac-Trans-Am-OEM-Spoiler-Connectors-Set-/270453772291) its made of fiberglass but it does not look like it would be to hard to fab one from metal.

Possibly, but no need when you can source them off the shelf locally.

Question for the group on the gap between the lower spoiler and the fender spoiler in the picture above. I have seen them super tight almost abutting and I have seen them like the above - 1/4 inch or more gap.

What is correct? I ask because I fitted mine yesterday and it was aftermarket (Danko) and was a terrible fit. I ended up having to cut the lower spoiler to get a decent fit and the gap was a little larger then I wanted. Curious about other peoples experience.

Thanks

from what i have found on second gen front sheet metal and spoilers
everything is a compromise to get the best fit you can
chuck in anything aftermarket and it gets even harder

What is correct? The photos at top of page are a brand new 77 SE, that is correct. But you can always improve on correct. Note that the decals were added to the spoiler parts off the car, so they don't perfectly line up, nor have the parts been adjusted for best fit, simply installed. Most wouldn't be at all happy with that quality.
