I know TTA Performance installed FiTech recently.

I would contact them for advice on that engine.  The owner Joe does some really nice work. He’s a really nice guy and knows his way around those engines.

This is probably your best option upfront due to having the spreadbore carb pad on your turbo inlet manifold.

Mine is N/A. This Holley set up is similar to the regular sniper but is
supposed work with stock intake manifold. I was curious if anyone was running one. I'd like to know how well it fits. A friend has the regular one on his olds it works great.

Should fit with no problem since it’s a spreadbore.  Hope to see you install it.  These are definitely interesting for the stock intake crowd.

read through your article and it was a great write up.

One question, as I am super clueless but was there a choice option for it to setup on a 301 or is that something I will have to try a 305 setting and tweak the numbers?

just My 2 cents , but for the 301 , I would just start with the basic parameters in the initial setup and then adjust it from there if needed. For just a basic setup for the 301, I would keep the timing stand alone if your happy with it now. The base settings on the Sniper work really well with a stock set up, just program in the numbers in the set up and I think that would work very well.

My apologies for my ignorance but what is that?

On initial set up it ask for which system you have, cylinders, cubic inch, cam, target idle and ignition type, that easy.
