Chief Pontiac Productions along with Performance Years and PYPES Performance Exhaust brings the 5th Annual PY Pontiacs in the Park event to Virginia Motorsports Park, Petersburg Virginia, May 30-June 1, 2008.

Mark your calendars and get ready to kick off the 2008 show season by attending the first major Pontiac event, PY Pontiacs in the Park at Virginia Motorsports Park, May 30-June , 2008.PY Pontiacs in the Park will begin the weekend with another High Performance Pontiac Magazine Pavement Pounder Shootout on Thursday May 29th. AllPontiac.com  Test and Tune Friday gets the Pontiac racing started in the morning followed by VMP's open street racing Friday night. Additions to Friday nights Racing will be a Chicago Style Shootout for Pontiacs only. Saturday and Sunday's racing produces the Largest Pontiac Event Payouts in the country! Both days will be loaded with high speed Pontiac action.

Classes include the Butler Performance Fast 4, AllPontiac.com Super Pro,  H & J Motorsports Heavy and  Kens Speed and Machine Street classes.  The racing should prove to be exciting since VMP's racing surface which was all new in '06 produced the new NHRA Pro Stock ET and MPH records in October 2006 has just been reground in January 2008. Arnie Beswick will be making passes in his “Tameless Tiger 2”. Jim Wangers and Dave Anderson will also be on hand.  Milt Schornack will be bringing his 70 GTO. The car show hosted by the GTO of Richmond and Old Dominion POCI car clubs will have classes which will be professionally judged on Saturday with the awards presented on Sunday. Saturday's car show participants will enjoy 1 free pass down the track as part of their entry. You can find parts, parts and more parts in the sprawling swap meet, and stroll down the manufacturer's midway with such vendors as Performance Years, PYPES, AllPontiac.com, Butler Performance and the rest of the event sponsors for the newest and hottest Pontiac items on the market.
